How To Transfer Money To GTBank Virtual MasterCard Via Internet Banking

You must fund your GTB Virtual Master Card before you can use it to make online payments.

You can easily do this by making use of the "Own Account Transfer" module via "Account Transfer" but before you can do this, ensure that the virtual card's account number has been listed on your Internet banking dashboard, else you won't be able to fund it.

So, if the GTB virtual debit card's account number is not showing immediately you create it, just chill till it appears. You might have to wait till the next working day though.

From our recent political history, few events have created more media buzz than when the 73-year old retired Army General, Muhammadu Buhari was sworn in as President of Nigeria, Africa’s most populous country.
As we gasp in shock and as the Buhari administration gasps for breath, Nigerians wonder what happened to the Chief-Agent-for-Change who toppled the Otuoke Corruption Czar, former President Goodluck Jonathan, 15 months ago in a rare democratic defeat of a ruling party that held power for 16 years.

To see clearly is prophecy. More so, trying to revive a failed state like Nigeria is like hiking in the wilderness. You need to see far into the future. You need survival skills before you start the journey. So far, it is evident that Mr. Buhari was never prepared for the journey. Didn’t see where he was headed.
Many writers and critics offered free help to Mr. Buhari to enable him realize and appreciate that leadership position is not a spectator position. Volumes have been written to intimate Mr Buhari with the complaints, concerns, and expectations of our people.
Complaints which focus on what we think the President is doing wrong, concerns aimed at finding solutions to the problems, and expectations from a government of “change” have sadly been rebuffed and resisted by Mr. Buhari.
Buhari settling like those before him
Mr Buhari has settled for the status quo just to fit in with the crowd of spectators at the National Assembly that run the affairs of Nigeria.
He swims around like a pawn on a chessboard moved around at their whim. Mr. Buhari forgets that harmful association with people like his Chief of Staff Abba Kyari and General Tukur Buratai the Chief of Army Staff, both of whom have been accused of financial improprieties, are like magnet that exert a pull that can distort his moral judgment and throw his moral sense off course!
Arguably, the first 100 Days of a new administration particularly a government of “change” are very crucial. It was the auspicious time for Mr. Buhari to build up momentum. It was when opinion about the new leader would crystallize.
It was very important for Mr. Buhari to get early wins that build personal credibility and political capital rather than dig himself into holes and have to clamber back out. The first 100 Days would have been Mr. Buhari’s best chance to reshape Nigeria according to his own agenda and vision.
Comparing models
In 1933, President Franklin D. Roosevelt used his first 100 Days in office to lay the foundations of the New Deal. Indeed, his first 100 Days was a model of presidential accomplishment. Between March and June 1933, FDR successfully urged Congress to enact a series of laws creating a host of new federal programs.
He seized the opportunity of the worst economic depression in American history to unleash legislative onslaught. Fifteen million Americans were unemployed. The Gross National Product (GNP) – a measure of a nation’s total economic activity – had fallen for more than half since 1929. The Dow Jones Industrial Average of 386.10 on September 3, 1929 fell to 41.22 on July 8, 1932; a drop of nearly 90 per cent.
Wasted days
“The secret to getting ahead,” says Mark Twain, “is getting started.” A reformist presidency begins with the first 100 Days. Just like FDR, Mr Buhari would have taken the advantage of the Jonathan years of economic plundering and political tragedy to rewrite history of his presidency by flooding the National Assembly with progressive bills. Take a look at some examples of lasting revolutionary changes that Mr. Buhari squandered in his first 100 Days in office:
He failed to restructure Nigeria inside out and make it a true federal system. He missed the opportunity to jumpstart the economy with the largest stimulus package in the history of the world. He refused to fire corrupt judges. He failed to reform the judicial system and the criminal justice system.
He lost the chance to slash the bogus salaries and criminal perks of the highest paid legislators in the world and make it competitive with what other legislators in the world earn. He blew away the opportunity to reform education, agriculture, health, power, aviation, and other industrial sectors.
He failed to abolish the Lord Lugard relic known as Nigeria Police Force and replace it with state and local government police.
The failed messiah
Our history shows we’ve been ruled mostly by collection of bandits. Mr. Buhari failed to break protocols and distant himself from the past by surrounding himself with a collection of the same old bandits as members of his inner caucus. He missed the opportunity to do away with the same non performing individuals as ministers. As Buhari’s administration waffles and shuffles through its second year, the slides further and further into recession.
I know some incurable Buharists and political voodoo optimists will be quick to dismiss my view. They will come up with the same old, tired, worn out excuses and reasons. We’re familiar with such tunes.

Four soldiers drown in Bayelsa state

Operation in the south claims its lives among the servicemen
Troops of Operation Crocodile Smile have suffered a major loss following a boat accident along the Brass Water Front in Brass local government area of Bayelsa state.

According to Leadership, the incident,which occured at about 10 am on Monday, September 5, led to the death of four soldiers by drowning and created panic among newly deployed soldiers.
Also missing are service rifles belonging to the missing soldiers.

Though it could not be confirmed the mission of the Soldiers in the area,it is not unconnected to the security operations against renewed militancy,sea piracy and search for those threatening to hoist the Niger Delta Republic flag.
An indigene of the Community simply identified as Etta, told Leadership that attempts by community youths and other soldiers to assist in a rescue operation failed as the drowned soldiers could not be found.

According to Etta, “In recent times, we have been noticing increased movement of soldiers in our area. The boat that capsize was conveying a new batch of soldiers to the water front.

I was going to dispose of refuse at the waterfront and I saw uniformed soldiers struggling to rescue their colleagues in a capsize boat.


“When the confusion subsided, Four Soldiers were found to be missing with their rifles and other military gear. Some others that were rescued had their rifle missing and struggling out of the water.”

Honourably resign, group tells Ikpeazu

The South East Revival Group (SERG) has urged him to honourably step aside as a mark of his respect for the rule of law, having failed to secure a stay of execution of the ruling of Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court, Abuja at the weekend.

The group, in a statement made available to androidforreal.gq and signed by its national secretary, Mazi Luis Obioha, also called on the inspector-general of police, the director of the Department of State Services (DSS) and all the law enforcement agencies in the country to ensure that Uche Ogah, the governor-elect as declared by the court.

“We are concerned that Abia state has no governor at the moment because Okezie Ikpeazu’s certificate of return, which is the basis for which he was sworn in as the state governor has been withdrawn by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and a new one issued to the governor-elect, Uche Ogah.

“By issuing a certificate of return to Uche Ogah it means that INEC has withdrawn Okezie Ikpeazu’s and he cannot legally hold the office office of the governor of the state, after failing to obtain a stay of execution order from an Abuja Federal High Court.

Appeal Court decides on Abia governorship crisis

A Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja on Tuesday, July 26, took a decision that might put a stop to the current crisis rocking the Abia state governorship seat, at least for a while.

The lead judge of the five-member panel at the Court of Appeal, Morenike Ogunwuniju said that all parties involved in the case must maintain status quo pending the decision of the Court of Appeal on an appeal filed before it.

Ogunwuniju also advised that all motions filed before the court, be set aside pending the decision of the Appeal Court on the appeal filed by Okezie Ikpeazu who is currently the Abia state governor.

The Judge said: “I am avoiding the use of status quo but what we are saying is that all parties in the matter remain as they were; everybody remain as you were before you came into this court this morning until a judgement is reached on the appeal.”

But objecting to the court’s decision on “staying as you were”, counsel to Uche Ogah said ge feared that the court’s decision would be misinterpreted as a stay of execution of a Federal High Court order.

However continuing, Ogunwuniju said it would be wrong for any party involved to misinterpret the court’s decision.

The lead judge further ruled that the matter be adjourned to Tuesday, August 9,  for hearing. Explaining that this decision is followed on the need for the court to give judgement on the appeal before it.

Wole Olanikpekun, the counsel to the governor of Abia state Okezie Ikpeazu while speaking on the matter, informed the court of a leave of execution by the appellant for an appeal filed on Monday, July 18.

He told the court that there was an affidavit and two further affidavits in support of the application. Ogunwuniju ordered that the applicant within three days from Wednesday, July 27, file its order.

The court also ordered that the respondents have three days each – which would run concurrently – to file their reply.

Also, the appellant is allowed another three days after the respondents have filed their reply to file any other reply if necessary.

The judge further adjourned the matter to Thursday, August 4, for hearing on the matter.

We remember that a Federal High Court in Abuja had on June 27, ordered the present governor of Abia state Okezie Ikpeazu to vacate his seat. Justice Okon Abang of the Abuja High Court in his ruling, had said that Ikpeazu was guilty of tax evasion.

running background and apps that aren’t running.

– Crazy: This one kills all apps except for
apps you are using with. It is the one applied whenever your battery is about to drain empty. But if your phone battery is generally bad, you should use the crazy mode always to milk out some battery juice that lasts a little longer.

There is also another option called auto kill frequency which you can also use.

Google Will Now Show You Song Lyrics Every Time You Search for Them

In its quest to make its search service more meaningful to its users, Google will now directly display song lyrics on search results when users ‘Google’ them. This is after the company entered into a partnership with LyricFind, “the world’s largest lyric licensing service”.

As per the terms of the agreement, everyone searching for lyrics to Bob Fitt’s You are so faithful will be able to see them without leaving Google for A-Z Lyrics since LyricFind boasts of 4,000 lyrics under its sleeve who will now readily source lyrics for Google’s search results and its music app, Play Music. The lyrics publishers (songwriters, rightsholders) get paid royalties every time the lyrics are viewed.

The lyrics will be displayed using cards.

At the moment, only US users are able to take advantage of the new deal. The rest of us have to wait for an undefined period when Google will open up the function to everyone since the deal also includes international markets.

While this is a good move for us as users, sites that have for long dominated the online song lyrics scene like A-Z Lyrics and others are likely to feel the pinch going forward. Why would I click through a Google search link that takes me to azlyrics.com while there’s a card at the top of the search results page with the exact same information?
